Get started

A tip for beginners is to start by focusing on three things: Shopping online,
transferring or receiving money via mobilen and paying bills online.

1. Shopping online

The benefits of online shopping include: You have easy access to a huge range of goods. You will receive the products packed and delivered to your home, plus the price can be lower than in a physical store. In addition, all “shops” are open around the clock so you can shop when it suits you best. And of course you have the right to return items that you are not satisfied with. Most companies offer a 30-day free return policy.

2. Transfer

Swish is a practical payment service used by more than 7 million Swedes. The work on developing Swish started in 2012 as a collaboration between six of Sweden’s largest banks. When you “swish” to someone, money is moved directly from your account to the recipient’s account without you having to fill in any slips or log in to your online bank. The service is free to use and easy to get started with.

3. Paying bills

To be able to pay your bills, you first need to make sure that you have access to your bank’s online or mobile banking. Then log in and enter all information from the invoice: the recipient’s name, the amount and the OCR number. If you use your phone to do this, you can easily use your phone’s camera to automatically read in this data. When this is done, you simply approve the payment using BankID. You’re done!
