I have made a Swish payment, but the recipient has not received it. What should I do?

Start by double-checking that the money has actually been withdrawn from your account. You can do this both under “History” in the Swish app and in the account history of your bank account. After that, make sure that you have entered the correct mobile number and that the name was correct at the BankID signing of the payment. If you still feel something is wrong, you need to contact your bank.

I’ve changed banks, what happens with Swish?

As long as you keep your old mobile number, all you have to do is connect your new bank account to Swish. This will automatically end the connection to your old account. After that, you will need to activate the Swish app again, to update the app with the right information.

The Swish app is not working, what should I do?

This is what we recommend:

  • Double-check that you have the latest version of the app.
  • Make sure your app has access to the internet.

If none of this works, you need to contact your bank. Ask them to help you check your Swish account connection.
